1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of the Resume Flint web app at roleo.com.au, the same app used on a mobile browser, the Resume Flint for Windows desktop app, the website and related account and AI services (together, Resume Flint). By creating an account or using Resume Flint, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use Resume Flint.

2. What Resume Flint does

Resume Flint helps you find supported job advertisements, compare job material with information you provide, organise application activity and create AI-assisted resumes and cover letters. It does not submit applications for you, provide recruitment, legal or migration advice, verify a job advertisement, or guarantee a match score, interview or employment outcome.

3. Accounts and access

You must provide accurate account information, protect your password and promptly report suspected unauthorised access. Your account is personal and must not be shared. You are responsible for activity performed through it. Resume Flint may require email verification and may restrict or suspend access to protect users, third parties, the service or proprietary material.

4. AI features and your review obligation

Resume Flint uses generative AI for matching, resume tailoring, cover letters and in-app help. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, unsuitable, biased or unexpected. You must review every score and document, verify facts, names, dates, qualifications and claims, check the Word layout, and decide whether the output is appropriate before relying on or submitting it. Do not present invented or misleading information to an employer.

Tailoring choices control the rewriting, length and structural permissions Resume Flint applies to a requested document. These controls and Resume Flint's automated evidence and document checks reduce risk but do not replace your review. Page count and line wrapping may vary between Word versions, fonts, devices and printer settings unless Resume Flint expressly confirms that rendered pagination was verified.

Report inappropriate, unsafe or unlawful AI output through Resume Flint Support. Do not include confidential material unless it is necessary to investigate the report.

5. Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of resumes, experience material and other content you lawfully provide. You give Resume Flint a limited permission to process, transmit, store, copy and transform that content only as reasonably required to provide, secure and support the service. You confirm that you have the right to use submitted content and that it does not unlawfully disclose another person's information or infringe third-party rights.

Protection of your identifying details: before your résumé or job text is sent to an AI provider, Resume Flint replaces your name, email address, phone number and postal address with anonymous placeholders, so those details are not sent to the AI. They are restored only in the finished document delivered to you. This reduces exposure but is not a guarantee that submitted material contains no personal information; see the Privacy policy.

6. Free allowance, subscriptions and payments

Every account includes 10 free résumé tailorings. Job searching and match scoring are free and do not consume the allowance. After the free tailorings are used, continuing to tailor résumés and generate cover letters requires a paid subscription: AU$10 per week or AU$30 per month (prices include GST where applicable and are shown before you pay; they may change with notice for future billing periods).

Subscriptions are billed by our payment provider, Stripe - Resume Flint never sees or stores your card number. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel any time from My profile inside Resume Flint: you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are simply not charged again. Amounts already paid for a completed or partly used billing period are generally not refunded, except where a fault on our side prevented the service working or where a refund is required by law.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your rights under the Australian Consumer Law: if the service has a major failure you may be entitled to a refund, and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

7. Job websites and third-party services

You must comply with the rules, access controls and terms of every job website and third-party service you use. Resume Flint is not endorsed by, affiliated with or responsible for SEEK, I Work for NSW, APSJobs, Cloudflare, OpenAI, Anthropic or any employer unless expressly stated. Job availability and third-party content can change without notice.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use Resume Flint unlawfully; submit malicious, deceptive or rights-infringing material; scrape or bulk-extract the service; automate excessive requests; bypass rate limits, credits, authentication or security; probe other accounts; interfere with operation; use Resume Flint as a general-purpose AI proxy; reverse engineer except where a non-excludable law permits it; or copy, resell, sublicense, redistribute or publish Resume Flint's software, prompts, designs, workflows or protected content.

9. Resume Flint intellectual property and licence

Resume Flint and its software, branding, interfaces, prompts, documentation, workflows and service logic are owned by or licensed to the publisher and protected by intellectual-property law. Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use Resume Flint for your personal job-search activities. No other rights are transferred.

10. Updates, availability and security

Resume Flint may provide security, reliability or feature updates and may stop supporting obsolete versions. Internet access, a supported web browser and third-party services may be required. Resume Flint may be interrupted or changed and is provided with reasonable care, but uninterrupted, error-free or permanently available operation is not promised. Do not attempt to disable content-protection, anti-scraping, access-control, rate-limiting or bot-detection measures.

11. Privacy, export and deletion

The Privacy policy explains how Resume Flint processes your data. You can request a copy of your account data through Resume Flint Support, and request account deletion from within the signed-in web app. Deleting your account does not delete files you have already downloaded to a device; follow the data-removal guide for those files.

12. Ending use

You may stop using Resume Flint at any time. Resume Flint may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, unlawful use, security risk or discontinuation of the service. Terms concerning intellectual property, confidentiality, prohibited redistribution, responsibility and limitations continue where their nature requires it.

13. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resume Flint is not liable for an employer's decision, a missed opportunity, third-party website conduct, or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of AI output or the service. These terms do not limit liability or remedies that cannot legally be limited. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important documents.

14. Changes and governing law

Material changes will be published with a revised effective date and, where appropriate, shown in the product. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, subject to any mandatory law that applies where you live.

15. Resume Flint for Windows

Resume Flint for Windows is a desktop version of the same service that additionally uses your own PC. These terms apply to it in full, together with the points below.

Reading job pages on your PC. Some job websites cannot be read by an online service. When you choose a job page, Resume Flint for Windows can open that page in a browser window on your own computer and read its content back into the app, as if you had opened it yourself. Resume Flint opens only pages you direct it to. You remain responsible for complying with the terms, access rules and automation or bot policies of every website you open, and Resume Flint does not bypass a site's security or access controls on your behalf.

Saving documents on your PC. You can choose a folder on your computer where Resume Flint files a copy of each tailored resume and cover letter, organised as your chosen folder, then company, then job title. Those local files are stored on your device and under your control. Removing your account or your cloud data does not delete files already saved to your PC; you manage and delete those yourself. Resume Flint writes only inside the folder you choose, and only the document types it generates.

The Windows app is distributed and updated through the Microsoft Store, so your use of it is also subject to Microsoft's applicable terms.
